Interdisciplinary Authors - March 2023
This project will begin March 1st following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The end-date for the project and deliverable submission deadline is March 31st at 11:59 PM MST. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking 100 post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting. Participants will produce a finalised deliverable of a minimum 3000-word article. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas. Applications will only be accepted if the team name is your first and last name. Do not apply in teams.
Indigenous Student Achievement Pathways (ISAP) Infographic Development
We want to develop and create a series of clear, informative, graphic resources to guide students through activities that encourage the success of Indigenous undergraduate students in College of Arts and Science academic programs; for example, "Start strong; preparing for your first term", "Understanding ISAP's sign-up and registration process", "Sharing your Post-secondary experience with your support network", "Charting your "math path"", "Making the most of mentorship, becoming a mentor!" The selected student would be provided with data and existing text-based resources to translate into accessible visual resources. The selected student would develop 4-8 info-graphic posters, using common graphic design platform (Canva or PUB), pitch these to the ISAP staff and Arts and Science undergraduate student office teams at a midway point, and then make final revisions to produce completed resources as an endpoint to the project.

The project aims to provide recommendations for marketing businesses to effectively integrate AI into their marketing strategies and stay competitive in the industry.
Digital Marketing
We would like to collaborate with students to develop a marketing plan and materials for our company. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services. Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, brochures, etc. Deploying content according to our social media calendar to increase website traffic. Overseeing our channels and keeping them up-to-date. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending search engine optimization (SEO) strategies so our materials are easily accessible.
