We would also like some help with social media and/or blog posts to attract volunteers and donors to our site. Over the past 9 years, Railyard has run 9 cohorts with an alumni network of 40 ‘Yardies’ working in some of the biggest tech organizations, leading design studios, start-ups, and social venture organizations across Canada.We are seeking support from two interns - a Marketing Intern and a Visual & Digital Design Intern - to complete an audit of the Dossier and Railyard online presence and implement recommendations to optimize our website and social media channels.Visual & Digital Design InternThe primary focuses will be on:Website and UX strategy audit and implementation of recommendationsLean user research to gain an understanding of areas of opportunities for our online presenceVisual Design: create visuals for the website and share them on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TwitterWebsite front-end and back-end development (if required)Goals of this internship:Create a cohesive storyline that showcases the work of Dossier and Railyard LabDesign a repeatable process that will be used (with tweaks and alterations) in the future.Communication: We will communicate with our virtual intern through Slack and Zoom calls.Primary contact: Shane Tierney, Producer & Railyard Lab ManagerMentorship and supervision: Shane Tierney will be the main point of contact and meet with the student weekly or twice a week if needed, all via Zoom.
