Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Celeb Secrets is looking for two creative art wizards to help coordinate (and design) visuals and graphics for our growing social media handles! This team will lead the design strategy for Celeb Secrets' website(s) and social media handles, as they will assist with creating eye-catching graphics and assets. We are looking for candidates who are obsessed with all-things pop culture, music, movies, TV, and social media and have an eye for aesthetically pleasing content that fits our demographic. You are creative, detail-obsessed, and comfortable balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You also have an intimate understanding of Internet culture for Millennial and Gen Z consumers.

Positions available: 5 (teams or individual)

As a Junior Graphic Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing custom assets for use across our website(s)
  • Designing content for our social media platforms (i.e. YouTube, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Designing posters and banners for use in advertisements and events
  • Assisting with developing, implementing and managing our social media strategy by using a content calendar
  • Working with social media director(s) to ensure content is informative and appealing

The best candidates should have the following qualities:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and creative thinkers
  • Strong communication and writing skills; able to speak the language of our audience
  • Be knowledgeable of the mechanics and best practices for various social platforms
  • Forward-thinking; stays on top of the latest cultural and digital trends
  • Obsessed with all-things pop culture, movies, TV, music, and Internet (i.e. social media celebs)
  • Basic understanding of creative platforms like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, Canva, and Apple Keynote, among others.
  • Knowledge in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, iMovie or other video editing softwares to re-purpose company assets for promotional use.
  • Familiarity with Celeb Secrets brands' platforms and social media accounts
  • Curiosity for innovative products/platforms and willingness to implement creative ideas
  • Be available during normal work hours and willing to work evening and weekends when needed
  • Previous related work experience is encouraged
  • This project is apart of Riipen's LevelUP Program and the candidate will receive a stipend at the completion of 80 hours.

This is a great project for students looking to build a portfolio and prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated. Please send your resume and work samples in your request.
