Virtual Internship Opportunity: Computer Science
Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 5+ computer science students or 1-2 teams. About Headlamp, Inc. Our vision is to ensure all veterans, especially our junior enlisted and younger non-commissioned officers, achieve their optimum career outcomes after serving. The product we are building is a veteran community for career and transition . We serve veterans through a multi-tenant community platform paid for by our customers, who are veteran-facing organizations like not-for-profit veteran service organizations (VSO’s) and employers’ veteran hiring initiatives. On our platform, these organizations can engage more effectively with their veterans, scale operations, and, by joining a larger “community of communities", reach more veterans. We think creating a “market network” linking existing services is a better environment for veterans, employers, and VSO’s to find each other and to generate the best outcomes. For veterans , we provide “career information sharing” as they navigate the communities. Veterans working with our customers will get pooled data (data we collect from them and from our customers), access to market data (like labour market data from Emsi), and a social network for transition, where they can crowdsource information and find the right resources to figure out their best paths. Opportunity Get in on the ground floor with a great team with an even greater mission! Gain valuable experience working with an accomplished Silicon Valley senior engineering manager (see Marc LeBrun ) in the development process from Alpha to MVP!
