Financial Business Plan

We are looking to officially launch Valid Dreams Foundation and would like to involve students in this exciting time as we work to develop a financial business plan. We can provide access to internal documentation and other information as needed as well as access to key contacts. Based on our unique goals and constraints, we would like students to develop a strong, competitive financial business plan, which we can present to investors and potential sponsors. We would also like student involvement in researching ways we can increase revenue as an organization to reach our financial goals. The plan should include:Sales forecastingExpense budgetIncome projections (conservative and aggressive)Assets and liabilitiesBreak-even analysisPay periods for employees and future positions

Addiction & Mental Health Placement

Our organization helps people overcome anxiety, depression and addictions without prescription medications by providing support and advocacy to those who need itWe believe this project will include:Virtually facilitating a support group for individuals with addictions mental health issuesBeing a 'friendly visitor' to socially isolated individuals such as individuals struggling with mental health issues, minorities and newcomers Promoting mental health within communitiesGrief and loss supportCultural promotion for BIPOC communities through events and initiatives Community outreach, engagement, and/or community development Social justice and/or advocacy work, including social policy research and/or advocacy

Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. Our organization is excited to expand it's services to the Kamloops community and surrounding We currently support the BIPOC community and are expanding in our services and programs that are wholistic to address the demand and challenges faced by minority communities and newcomers.Racism, discrimination, unconscious bias have been among areas that affect the BIPOC community. As part of our initiative we are hosting Vodcasts to share peoples stories and the impact this challenges have had on them in their advancement and mental health.so organizations and community learn how they can create an inclusive culture and broaden their perspective.student will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.If you like the sound of our culture, we'd love to hear from you.

Non-Profit Grant Writing

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement.We believe this project will include:Comprehensive grant and funding searching and of applications to enable our organization to achieve it's current objectives.Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.Interpret a request for proposal (RFP).Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.Collaborate with the team and Executive director on partnerships and documentationTrack successful grants and funds while also ensuring that grant submission deadlines and requirements are met
