Students will collaborate with the small business throughout the term (10-week term starting on January 13) and will work on the following: 1. Organizational diagnosis 2. Project proposal 3. Final project report and presentation How companies will benefit: This course (BUSI 660) serves as the capstone/exit course for the UCW MBA students, indicating that small businesses will have the opportunity to collaborate with final-term MBA students. These students already possess diverse academic and professional backgrounds before enrolling in the MBA program. Now, they are just one term away from obtaining their MBA degree. It will be a great opportunity for the small business to work with the MBA students who will actively engage with and contribute to the small business from initial diagnosis of the problem to writing a proposal to executing a final project report and presentation. Students already had diverse academic and work experiences before joining the MBA program. Now, they are just one step (term) away from having an MBA degree. It will be a great opportunity for the small business to work with the MBA students who will actively engage with and contribute to the small business from initial diagnosis of the problem to writing a proposal to executing a final report and presentation. Similarly, students will also get valuable first-hand and real-world experiences by working with the small business.

Project-based learning opportunity: Students from the Vancouver-based University Canada West (UCW) MBA program would like to support you through a project-based experience. Students will work on a business project throughout the duration of their academic term and will connect with you as needed via virtual communication tools. Based on the needs of your business and the course requirements, a project will be set for students to work throughout the term (mid-October to mid-December for the Fall term, for example). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we'd prefer students communicate with you virtually -- preferably using the Riipen platform.
