We would like an intern to join our development team in the area of software QA and testing. The candidate will be responsible to test our applications before a release, report bugs to the development team and contribute in enhancing the product. Here are the tasks that will be included in this internship: Full software testing of our new content using various methods. Entering defects in GitHub Interfacing with the development team and following up on progress. Providing feedback and suggestions on new features. Members should be comfortable with software testing and have some coding knowledge in Python. Test reports must be completed after each test. This internship can lead to full-time employment in Python programming (Full-stack developer).

Cloud VDI

In a Cloud VDI environment, when a user is connecting, it's important that the system redirects the user to an appropriate virtual desktop. We are looking to build a system component that will take care of routing the user to an appropriate VDI based on several settings such as load balancing algorithm (e.g. round robin, resource optimized, hard assignment, etc.), allowed working time window, etc. The component must also take care of provisioning settings such as number of buffer instances, auto-provisioning on the fly, etc. Since our system is based on Python/Django, we are looking for students with some experience with Django web framework.

Virtual Internship Opp: Building Prototype Thin Client on Raspberry Pi 4

Virtual Internship Opportunity: We are looking for a hacker with computer engineering skills across hardware and software. Goal: This is a research and development project to build the prototype of a plug-and-play zero client based on the Raspberry Pi 4. The zero client will remotely connect to a Cloud desktop hosted in the datacenter. You must have experience with embedded boards, Linux OS, being able to work remotely & be Canadian, or have permanent residency or have a valid work permit in Canada. We're disruptors.
