Virtual Internship Opportunity:

We are looking for a hacker with computer engineering skills across hardware and software.

Goal:

This is a research and development project to build the prototype of a plug-and-play zero client based on the Raspberry Pi 4. The zero client will remotely connect to a Cloud desktop hosted in the datacenter. You must have experience with embedded boards, Linux OS, being able to work remotely & be Canadian, or have permanent residency or have a valid work permit in Canada.

We're disruptors. We want to challenge the actual way businesses are using work computers by introducing a cloud computing model in the industry. You will be the one leading this project, and if everything goes well, a professional challenge awaits you at the end of your internship. You can work on new technology but also see the results of your project afterward when it goes to market.

Some of our requirements are:

- Experience with Raspberry Pi and other embedded boards;

- Experience in Linux development;

- Experience in Python and web development (REST APIs, HTML/Javascript, MySQL)

-Studying in computer science, computer engineering or another relevant field.

-Manage your time effectively and respect deadlines;

-Being able to write exceptional quality code;

-Understand the challenges of a start-up environment, love to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure;

-Important: be Canadian or have permanent residency or have valid work permit in Canada

-Speak and write English
