PROJECT SCOPEChallenge/Opportunity:- Arts on the Ave operates a volunteer powered coffeehouse, the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse. All the revenue from the coffeehouse goes to our many projects. Some of our projects include festivals such as Deep Freeze and Kaleido Family Arts Festival.- Before COVID-19 we were able to host various events at our coffeehouse like a wine and cheese night, band performances, artisans market.- With government costs and COVID-19, it has presented various challenges for Arts on the Ave activities and events in the community.-The pandemic has truly challenge the organization in many ways and it has given us an opportunity to reinvent our selves as a non profit organization. We have grown our passion to help others and uplift one another through the arts. Getting more support and funding from the Government will help the organization continue what we started while staying true to our mission and  vision.-The coffeehouse acts as a space where our staff can work and our executive director can meet important people as well as conducting our coffee business as usual. Our goal at the end of this experience is:Research and documentation: Finding new grant opportunities and fund raising ideas. Making sure important contacts and relationships are recorded for future references.Grant Writing: Support fund development lead drafting for grants writing. Helps on collecting important components in executing grants application successfully.Finance Report: Review grant reports requirements and prepare financial workbook for support.Admin Support: Grant reporting and follow up.
