Youth Wellness Program

Our youth organization is looking for outdoor educational and health programming experiences that enrich and assist our participants. We would like to collaborate with students to implement an outdoor educational and health program series. Students will have access to key contacts in our organization for feedback on the program planning. Students should be prepared to: Research and apply information on outdoor educational and health program for youth (15-29). Develop an outdoor educational and health program series for a youth-aged population. Plan activities, with the assistance of our staff, which are inclusive of BIPOC youth. Work together with our staff to implement the outdoor educational and health program over a period of time.

Optimize Sustainability for Non-Profit Housing

We would like to make our housing co-operative more environmentally friendly. We have secured funding for a number of activities: greenhouse, community garden, solar panel and EV installation and improving the energy efficiency of the building. What we need is an implementation plan -- this would include identifying suppliers and contractors, designing the layout/location of the above activities, and creating a timeline and work plan to implement the activities. This project would help reduce the carbon footprint of our building. We would like Engineering, Design and Environmental Studies students to develop an implementation plan that can optimize the sustainability of our building and implement the changes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Housing Education

The goal of our project is to develop educational and outreach materials to educate youth about housing -- housing rights and responsibilities, finding housing, understanding housing options. Our goal is to empower young people around housing.

Content Creation for Sustainability Initiatives (Winter 2024)

The primary goal for this role is to take responsibility for all content creation, with a strong emphasis on producing engaging and impactful reels, and graphics using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. The aim is to effectively promote and market sustainability initiatives, conveying their importance and impact to a wider audience through compelling multimedia content.

Outreach Coordinating

We are looking for assistance in organizing a outreach in support of our mission of empowering students as initiators of change in addressing today’s social and environmental concerns. We believe this project will include: Participating in outreach training and promotions during key dates Putting together research via our database for lecture schedules Delivering lecture announcements to classrooms about Regenesis, who we are, what we do, and why to support us Distribute promotional materials to students Attending events to share with people more information about Regenesis, how to get involved
