The Black Canadians, Africans and Caribbean Professionals Association Inc. (BCACPA) is a community driven non-profit membership association based in Central Canada (The Prairies). We strive to address equity, entrepreneurship, employment and professional development, impacting newcomers from the diverse Black communities, youth and professionals who identify as part of the Black diaspora, African countries, multi-generational African Canadians and the Caribbean (all ages).We are based out of Saskatchewan and have been facilitating Black networking events since 2016, and we were officially registered as a nonprofit on March 2, 2020.

Program Manager Assistant for Black History Month Saskatchewan

The goal of this project is to assist with the logistics behind the scenes leading up to a Black History Month Saskatchewan Presentation.In this project students will get experience with engaging stakeholders, performers, doing marketing research on venues and pricing with venues and vendors.They will create and coordinate Google Forms and curated and categorize responses. These forms will be for volunteer intake, performer intake, artisan and designer intake and more.
