We believe this project will include:
- Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project.
- Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding.
- Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.
- Research and interpret a request for proposal (RFP).
- Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
- Look for grants and sponsorship opportunities and partnerships.
- Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a persuasive proposal narrative; or
- Research into other grant opportunities to support our cause
- Work on grant applications, create surveys, and follow-up reports if needed
This project will be in partnership with a supervisor. Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

Our organization, The Black Canadians, Africans and Caribbean Professionals Association Inc. (BCACPA), is a community non-profit membership association. We strive to address the deeper issues that individuals face, particularly newcomers from the Black community, youth and professionals who identify with the Black diaspora in Saskatchewan.
