Organizational Behavior Dynamics course is designed to examine the important issues and procedures regarding functions of the organization. Participants will understand the major aspects of the organization that contribute to the organizational culture, managing work behavior, perceptions and emotions, motivation and stress, providing evaluation, feedback and rewards for constructive behavior as well as managing misbehavior. This course will demonstrate how balanced advocacy will facilitate a harmonious work environment with employer and employees as well as team dynamics, managing conflict, negotiation, communication, decision making, leadership, organizational structure and design, managing change, innovation and creativity.

Students at the University of California, Riverside Extension program will work on Effective Performance Management issues for your organization. They will apply Effective Performance Management to your corporate goals, mission, and vision. Effective performance management is result driven providing satisfaction and a win -win situation to employer and employees of the firm.The project will focus on creating and managing a high performance workforce, which is the critical component of organizational success. They will also examine alignment of business strategy, pursuing smart goals, evaluating performance, as well as implementing a performance system, and the impact it has on human performance. Measurement tools and techniques will be explored, as well as how to design and deliver performance recognition and rewards. The implementation of the training programs will include job skills, team building skills, using career and leadership development.

Do you have a Labor and/or Employee Relations challenge you want to tackle? In this project, students working in teams will examine the critical issues and procedures regarding organization. They will bring an understanding of the major aspects of labor – employee relations in union and non – union environments. Students will also demonstrate how balanced advocacy will facilitate harmonious work environment with employer, employee, and union. The implementation of models like Ideal, Unite, Win-Win, and the 8 C Models, will bring trustworthy relationships, develop better understanding, executing negotiation, effective communication and collaboration techniques between union and management organizations as well as help in adapting with the currents challenges like COVID – 19 Pandemic.
