UX/UI Design Intern

At Ruh, we are innovating in the field of Psychology and Mental Health, creating a unique intersection between Psychology, Faith (Islam) and Technology. The intern will have a unique opportunity to contribute to and beautify the expansion of the field of Psychology, helping make mental health support available to millions online. We are a young health tech startup in the capital of Canada if you are passionate about mental health and would like to join a young team. This specific role would mean you have the startup acumen to be part of a fast-paced environment. We just launched in April 2022 and are growing!

Help us build Figma interactions and animations for our mobile app prototype

Our company has a MVP currently being tested with our customers. In the background, a Figma protoeype has been developed and we are looking for support to transform the screens into an interactive design replicating how a user may interact with our mobile app.Ultimately this work will act as a blueprint for our future-state app, plus will assist us in pitching to investors.To replicate how the user may interact with the app, the work will involveCreate connections between frames to create flows and/or pathwaysDefine the type of interactions users can have with each connectionAdjust the animations to determine how the prototype moves from one Frame to the other.

Landing Page Development

Psystem in the past two years has paid considerable efforts in building brand and voice. We are looking for a student to help us with furthering our marketing strategy by creating compelling landing pages that support the acquisition and/or nurturing of furture clients. The project will include the creation of four landing pages (roughly 12-13 hours per page) that compliment key elements within Psystem's marketing strategy. The student who takes on this internship will gain: experience in web development, understanding of how websites, particularly landing pages, support marketing activities, and mockups and data around their creations that they can use in building their portfolio.

UI/UX design for Fitness admin app

We're looking for a student to help us with the creation of new graphic design assets.This will include:- Coming up with color themes and branding guides that aligns with and builds on our existing branding.- Creating graphic design assets for our marketing materials and websites- Design end to end digital experiences (web, iOS, Android) that are simple and intuitive- Take new features from ideation to prototyping, to user testing, to production- Document your designs in a way that leaves no room for error when they get to development- Help contribute to a design system and reusable component library
