Project Goal:

Lead and expand the Global Deeds Civic Action Program (GD-CAP) on campus by organizing community engagement events, mentoring student-led civic projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and supporting the planning of a statewide Civic Action Summit at the Massachusetts State House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and supervise Civic Action Dinners/Lunches
• Guide students in developing and funding community projects
• Coordinate logistics for the Civic Action Summit
• Support press activities and produce impact reports

Ideal Student Background:

• Graduate student with leadership experience
• Interested in civic engagement, education, or public service
• Access to transportation in Massachusetts preferred

Deliverables:

• Monthly impact reports
• Documented support for student civic projects
• Participation in Civic Action Summit execution
