Details

Your Sweet Spot Life is seeking an innovative design for a home-based hydroponics system that can sustainably provide fresh produce for a family of four, including two adults and two teenagers. The project aims to create a system that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, fitting seamlessly into a home environment. The design should focus on maximizing space efficiency and ease of use, ensuring that the system can be maintained with minimal effort. Learners will apply their knowledge of plant biology, sustainable design, and engineering principles to develop a solution that meets these criteria. The project will involve researching existing hydroponics systems, identifying key components, and designing a prototype that can be easily replicated by homeowners.

Deliverables

The project deliverables will include a detailed design plan for the hydroponics system, complete with schematics and a list of required materials. Additionally, learners will provide a user manual outlining setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. Aesthetic considerations should be documented, showcasing how the system integrates into a home setting. Though I am not expecting this, a prototype or model demonstrating the system's functionality and design would also be great.
