Details

The Woundscan iOS App Core Feature Implementation project aims to enhance the functionality and accuracy of the Woundscan app, a tool designed to assist healthcare professionals in wound assessment. The primary focus is on integrating ARKit with LiDAR technology to achieve precise wound measurements, ensuring that the app's computer vision and mathematical algorithms are accurate and reliable. Additionally, the project seeks to refine the AI model's capability to detect and analyze wounds effectively. Another key aspect is developing a seamless multi-wound session and documentation workflow, which will be presented through a polished SwiftUI interface. This project provides learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of iOS app development, ARKit, and AI model refinement in a practical setting, contributing to a real-world healthcare solution.

This project's main objective is to advance our existing iOS MVP by implementing key clinical workflow features and ensuring the highest level of accuracy for our core measurement technology. The primary goals are to validate and refine the mathematical algorithms that process LiDAR and computer vision data for wound measurement, ensuring they meet our defined accuracy targets. Additionally, this project will focus on building out the multi-wound session management and the in-app documentation hub, creating a seamless capture-to-documentation workflow for clinicians on the go.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a functional iOS app prototype with integrated ARKit and LiDAR for accurate wound measurement. The app should feature an enhanced AI model for wound detection, a user-friendly multi-wound session workflow, and a polished SwiftUI interface. Additionally, a comprehensive validation report demonstrating the accuracy and reliability of the implemented features is required.

An Enhanced iOS Application: An updated version of the Woundscan iOS app with the new features implemented and integrated.

Algorithm Validation Report: A report detailing the testing methodology and results for the wound measurement algorithms, confirming their accuracy.

Functional Multi-Wound Session Management: A completed feature allowing a user to capture and manage data for multiple wounds in a single, persistent session.

Implemented Documentation Hub: A functional in-app hub where users can view session data and select documentation templates.

Updated SwiftUI Codebase: Clean, well-documented SwiftUI code for all new features and UI components, built upon the existing MVP codebase.
