Details

We’re Peak Experiences Ltd., a consulting company focused on community-based social innovation and equity-centred education. We’re developing a new, visually creative card deck to support educators, researchers, and facilitators working in experiential learning and community-based research.

In this project, you’ll help us research and analyze existing facilitators toolkits and carddecks. Your work will help us understand how similar products are priced, packaged, and positioned in the market.

This is a great opportunity for a student interested in social impact education, product research, and strategy development to gain real-world experience.

Deliverables

Market Scan – Start with an initial list we’ll provide (e.g., Liberating Structures, Biomimicry Toolbox, Alchemy of Astonishment, etc) and expand it to include at least 10–15 relevant examples.

Data Collection – Gather information on each tool's price, format (digital or physical), audience, marketing language, licensing, and whether it’s a standalone product or part of a service offering.

Insight Report – Create and present a brief report or slide deck outlining market trends, common approaches, standout features, and gaps you observe.

Resource Folder – Assemble a digital folder of example images, product pages, or downloadable sample cards (if available) to visually illustrate your findings.

(Optional) Strategic Suggestions – If time permits, offer light recommendations on how we might position or price our upcoming deck.

Peak Experiences Ltd. (Peak XP) has led global experiential learning and leadership development programs since 2017. We have worked with social innovation and environmental impact organizations worldwide, providing training and experiential learning programs for youth aged 18-35 to develop their leadership and changemaker abilities. Now, we are shifting our focus towards training the trainers and offering online products and services that support impactful facilitation and education.

Our mission is to reimagine global citizenship education and social innovation through critical, conscious, and co-constructive learning experiences. We work with universities, nonprofits, and sustainability activist groups to embed sustainability, ethical engagement, and transformative education into their programs. Our current research and development efforts focus on using cutting-edge educational tools and methodologies to support activist and environmental education groups in securing funding, expanding their impact, and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
