Details

I seek to develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs of parents with children who have special needs. The goal is to gather insights that will inform the creation of effective programs on their platform.

This project involves conducting research to identify

  • Number of Canadian children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, behaviour issues
  • breakdown by age, gender, ethnicity and trends in daignosis
  • geographic distribution
  • challenges faced by parents
  • issues in education for children
  • access to health care issues
  • financial strains
  • resource availability and accessibility
  • outcomes with therapy

By analyzing existing literature and conducting interviews or surveys, the team will compile a detailed report highlighting the most pressing needs and potential areas for program development.

The project aims to bridge the gap between current offerings and actual parental needs, ensuring that future programs are both relevant and impactful. The findings will guide Tin tailoring their platform to better serve this community.

Deliverables

The project will result in a comprehensive report detailing the needs of parents with children who have special needs. Deliverables include

  • a literature review
  • a summary of interview or survey findings
  • set of recommendations for program development.

The report will provide actionable insights to guide platform offerings.

The Adaptive human is branching out to help parents of children with special needs. We are moving away from business coaching to take on a problem that is wider spread with the creation of another company named Sensory Aides. The new website is not yet created. Please note a different logo will be needed and the website will be www.sensoryaide.com.
