Details

Uppership, a rapidly growing logistics startup, is looking to refine and expand its current financial model to better support investor communications and internal decision-making processes. The existing model needs transformation into a dynamic, user-friendly tool that effectively tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) such as client growth, monthly recurring revenue (MRR), cost of goods sold (COGS), churn, and warehouse utilization.

Additionally, the model should enable scenario planning, allowing the company to assess the impact of potential hiring or expansion decisions. The enhanced model will also support budgeting and forecasting, crucial for navigating the fast-paced changes in the logistics industry.

This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply financial modeling and data analysis skills, ensuring the model is both robust and adaptable to Uppership's evolving needs.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a refined financial model that is dynamic and easy to use, capable of tracking essential KPIs. It should include scenario planning capabilities to evaluate potential business decisions and support comprehensive budgeting and forecasting. The final deliverable will be a presentation to Uppership's management, showcasing the model's features and demonstrating its application in real-world scenarios.
