Flik FX requires a comprehensive update to its website, including the integration of professional videos and aesthetic improvements to ensure an engaging, polished, and high-performance website. While FlickFireworks has already undergone a recent redesign, it still requires minor fine-tuning to improve its professional appearance.
The goal is to ensure that both Flik FX and FlickFireworks represent the brand in the most polished way, showcasing both products and services effectively. The project will focus on enhancing user experience through improved design and integrating compelling video content to attract more customers.
Project Tasks:
- Website Update for Flik FX:
- Review the current design and functionality of the Flik FX website to identify areas for improvement, particularly in user experience (UX) and design.
- Implement new design elements, such as:
- Updated graphics to reflect a modern, sleek look.
- User-friendly navigation to ensure customers can easily navigate between services (fireworks and drone shows).
- Video Integration: Integrate high-quality videos showcasing drone light shows, fireworks displays, and customer testimonials to elevate the presentation of Flik FX’s services.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure that the new design does not negatively impact SEO rankings, and make improvements where necessary (meta tags, content structure, internal linking).
- Mobile Optimization: Ensure that the site works seamlessly on mobile devices, as a large portion of users access websites via smartphones.
- Minor Fine-Tuning of FlickFireworks:
- Perform a UX/UI audit to ensure the site is visually aligned with the professional, sleek image Flik FX aims to convey.
- Update content layout and design elements to enhance the aesthetic without needing a full redesign.
- Ensure that the product pages are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimized for conversion (e.g., product display, CTA buttons, easy checkout).
- Implement or refine video content to showcase fireworks displays, product features, or customer feedback in a professional manner. Ensure the videos are optimized for fast loading times and high resolution.
- Test the website’s speed and performance and resolve any issues.
- Professional Video Production & Integration:
- Create New Videos: Work with a video production team or use in-house footage to create high-quality videos that:
- Highlight Flik FX’s drone shows.
- Showcase fireworks displays and their different applications.
- Include testimonials or behind-the-scenes footage that enhances brand authenticity.
- Include professional voiceovers or music that matches the tone and style of Flik FX.
- Integrate Videos into Both Websites:
- Add videos to homepage hero sections for Flik FX and FlickFireworks.
- Use videos on product and service pages, highlighting the experience and providing a call-to-action.
- Ensure videos load quickly and do not affect the site’s performance or user experience.
- Usability & Conversion Optimization:
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Improve the user journey with new CTAs (Calls to Action), streamlined forms for booking or purchasing, and a simplified checkout process.
- Integrate Testimonials: Create a dedicated section for customer testimonials (with video or text reviews) to build trust and encourage more conversions.
- Clear Service Differentiation: On Flik FX’s homepage, clearly differentiate between services for fireworks and drone shows, and create an intuitive flow to direct customers to the appropriate section.
- Training Resources for Content Management:
- Admin Training: Create an easy-to-follow guide or video tutorial for internal teams to manage updates on the website (for adding products, services, blog posts, etc.) to ensure long-term success and autonomy after the project is completed.
- Best Practices for Video Content Management: Train the team on how to upload and optimize videos, and ensure they understand best practices for video SEO (titles, descriptions, tags).

Project Title: Website Brand Cleanup and Redirection to Flik FX
Objective:
To update and clean up all websites to reflect the new brand name, Flik FX, by redirecting any old references to Flick to Flik, ensuring brand consistency across all digital platforms. This includes updating URLs, content, and any references to "Flick" on FLICKTHEFIREWORKS.ca, flickfireworks.com, and flikfx.com to the new brand name, Flik FX.
Learners' Expected Tasks and Deliverables:
1. Website Brand Name Update (Flick → Flik FX):
Tasks:

2. Redirect Old Domain URLs to New Flik FX URLs:
