Details

This project will enhance HAL’s WordPress + Elementor website to improve usability, searchability, and community engagement. Students will evaluate the existing site and propose improvements to layout, responsiveness, and SEO. The site will also be updated to better reflect HAL’s services, include new blog or resource sections, and make donation options clearer and easier to use.

Deliverables

Conduct an audit of the current website (UX and SEO)

Propose and implement design and structure improvements using Elementor

Improve site responsiveness across devices

Add or update content sections: blogs, resources, services

Design and/or link a new donation page to HAL’s endowment fund

Deliver a final walkthrough and report of improvements made

Healthy Aligned Living (HAL) is a grassroots, trauma-informed, incorporated non-profit youth empowerment center based in Edmonton, Alberta. We provide empowerment-focused services for youth ages 14–29, including addiction recovery support, mental health programming, mentorship, life skills training, and culturally grounded healing. Our mission is to help underserved and at-risk youth find strength, purpose, and alignment in their lives through faith, community, and holistic wellness.
