The project aims to conduct comprehensive research and strategic planning to assess the platform's technical, operational, and market feasibility. Students will analyze the platform's architecture, core features, user flows, data models, and AI-driven vendor matching algorithms. The goal is to validate the platform's potential to become a central procurement hub. This project provides an opportunity for students to apply classroom knowledge in AI, data analysis, and strategic planning to a real-world business challenge.
Learners will be grouped into multidisciplinary teams (software engineering, AI/ML, business, commerce, etc.) and are expected to complete the following key tasks:
🔹 Business & Market Research
- Conduct a market landscape analysis of AI-driven procurement and vendor-client matchmaking platforms.
- Benchmark competitors (local and global) to assess strengths, weaknesses, pricing, and positioning.
- Identify unmet needs and opportunities that QIS can capitalize on.
- Deliverable: Market Research & Competitive Analysis Report
🔹 Platform Strategy & Feature Blueprint
- Define the core features, user journeys (for vendors, clients, and agents), and platform workflows.
- Map out modules such as AI tender matching, proposal assistance, vendor/client dashboards, compliance tracking, etc.
- Recommend a feature prioritization roadmap
- Deliverable: Platform Strategy & Feature Design Document
🔹 Technical Architecture & AI Integration Plan
- Outline the technical stack (front-end, back-end, database, cloud, security).
- Propose AI/ML models for intelligent vendor matching, inquiry classification, and recommendation logic.
- Evaluate third-party tools (e.g., freight APIs, QA verifiers, payment gateways).
- Deliverable: System Architecture & AI Integration Blueprint
🔹 Financial and Revenue Model
- Propose pricing tiers for vendors and service fees for clients.
- Estimate potential revenue streams (subscriptions, commissions, services).
- Develop scenarios for cost vs. margin analysis on different projects.
- Deliverable: Revenue Model and Financial Plan
🔹 Prototype or Clickable Mockup (Optional Bonus)
- Create a basic wireframe or clickable UX mockup of key interfaces (vendor dashboard, inquiry form, AI match result).
- Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Deliverable: Clickable prototype link + supporting UX notes
🔹 Final Presentation
- A summary presentation of findings, recommendations, and next steps for QIS.
- Deliverable: 15–20 slide deck + live or recorded walkthrough

Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
