This project aims to automate the workflow that enables brands to efficiently match with content creators who are interested in receiving gifts without the obligation of promotional content. The current manual process at Shine Talent Group s time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to missed financial opportunities and inefficiencies. By automating this workflow, brands can streamline their outreach efforts, ensuring that they connect with the right creators who align with their brand values and target audience, and Shine Talent Group can monetize their reach with content creators. The goal is to develop a user-friendly system that Shine's talent pool to match brands with interested, suitable creators in their chosen locale. This project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of programming, data analysis, and user interface design to solve a real-world problem in the marketing industry.
Shine Gifting Program
Sequence of Events
- Brand sends email requesting to gift talent product/service
- Automated response sent (by our team) to brand with link to standardized stripe payment
- Brand makes a $1000 payment and is redirected to complete the brand gifting form (form B)
- Gifting form (B) is completed by the brand
- A new talent form (form T) based on gifting form (B) responses is automatically created
- Automated email is sent to the talent in the region the brand selected (e.g US, UK, or CAN), where they are directed to form (T) to opt in for the gifting
- An up to date email list segregated by market is available to reference.
- Talent responses are recorded in a new spread sheet (for each form B completed, a new spreadsheet for form T is also created so no two brands receive the same responses to form T)
- Once the timeframe for the form (T) has passed, the responses are automatically sent to the brand via email
- Brand handles all logistics of sending out product
Development Needs
- Brands make payment on Stripe.
- Once payment is made, they are redirected to Form B to complete
- Form B Responses are used to create a new form: Form T
- Form T must have a cut off date where responses are no longer accepted
- Form T is sent to ALL TALENT list in the market the brand selected in step 4
- Responses to “Talent Gifting Form” are collected and organized in a spread sheet
- After the cut off date has passed, the responses to Talent Gifting Form are automatically sent to the Brand via email
