The project will involve researching potential partners, understanding their objectives, and proposing mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities. By focusing on strategic alignment, the project seeks to enhance Black Business Live Inc.'s visibility and influence in the corporate and non-profit sectors. The team will apply their knowledge of business development and strategic communication to craft a compelling partnership proposal and outreach strategy.
- Research and identify potential corporate event organizers and non-profit organizations for partnership.
- Analyze the objectives and values of potential partners to ensure strategic alignment.
- Develop a partnership proposal template tailored to different types of organizations.
- Create an outreach strategy to initiate contact and foster relationships with identified partners.
Phase 1: Research & Target Identification (Weeks 1-2)
Step 1: Market Research
- Research corporate event management companies in Toronto and GTA
- Identify non-profits focused on diversity, inclusion, and community development
- Create a database of 50+ potential partners using LinkedIn, Google, and industry directories
- Note their event frequency, budget ranges, and values alignment
Step 2: Competitive Analysis
- Analyze what services competitors offer to these segments
- Identify gaps in the market that BBLTV can fill
- Document your unique value propositions (Roku TV reach, digital screens, cultural focus)
Phase 2: Value Proposition Development (Week 3)
Step 3: Create Tailored Service Packages
- Corporate Package: Event hosting, professional interviews, live streaming, post-event digital screen promotion
- Non-Profit Package: Discounted rates, community impact documentation, social media amplification, cultural authenticity
Step 4: Develop ROI Metrics
- Quantify your reach: 250,000 weekly physical viewers + 1.3M quarterly online leads
- Create case studies from existing clients (Danforth Food Market, etc.)
- Prepare before/after engagement statistics
