Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

In February 2023, work on the Riipen project "Datset Generator" began. The code generates a configurable time series dataset used in industrial data analytics applications. It was completed May 2023 and was very successful.

Now, there are some additional features requested. We would like a student to revise the Java code to implement the new features. A feature list will be provided once the student is engaged. We would like to use an agile tool like Jira to manage the feature list. The code is in GitHub.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • Implement and test features to be added to the Java code
  • Maintain status of development in a tool such as Jira
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Pat Dixon, VP of Automation (https://pulmac.com/about/patrick-dixon/) will provide guidance throughout the project. We can arrange weekly Team meetings and communicate by email or unplanned Teams meetings.
