This project aims to help a growing healthcare staffing company attract qualified healthcare professionals—such as physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and personal support workers, etc.—through a targeted social media strategy. Students will focus on identifying the most relevant platforms and content themes that appeal to this specific audience. The outcome will be a strategic marketing plan tailored to increase engagement and visibility among healthcare job seekers. This project gives students an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in digital marketing, audience research, and brand positioning to a real-world challenge faced by a startup in the healthcare industry.

Deliverables

Conduct a focused market scan of healthcare professionals’ online behavior and preferred platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).

Create 1–2 audience personas that reflect common goals, needs, and behaviors of potential job-seeking healthcare professionals.

Recommend the most suitable social media platforms and messaging tactics based on findings.

Propose a 4-week sample content calendar, including content themes and sample post ideas.

Deliver a concise strategy report (max 6 pages) summarizing research, insights, and recommendations.

Present findings and rationale in a final presentation.
