Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Students will be expected to maintain the surrounding grounds, washroom and cabin upkeep, including daily cleaning, run the store, take bookings, complete daily financials, and work with groups of visiting students.


This position will require the candidate to be able problem solve to ensure the resort is running at capacity. You will be working along side our resort manager.



What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

1) everyday operations of a private resort

2) maintain all of the bookings, including taking payments

3) run a small convenience store

4) ensure all products are ordered

5) assist campers as needed

6) cut firewood

7) cut lawn and water on a regular basis

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Student will be supported by our current manager. All required training will be done onsite. Throughout the entire project student will have access to everything they need to be successful. In addition to the manager, students will will have access to all board members should any concerns arise.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

1) Exceptional customer service

2) Self motivated

3) Operate a power saw, lawn maintenance equipment

4) Drivers licence with own vehicle

5) Basic computer skills

6) Be able to use excell

About the company

North Barriere Lake Resort is a private campsite located on a pristine lake. We currently have 7 cabins, 8 campsites and 50 lease lots. We are dedicated to families and want to make sure their camping experience is memorable.
