Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The primary goal is to optimize marketing to generate revenue and be noticed as a Top Influencer in my field and demographically. The desired outcome is to increased brand awareness and engagement, maximized website traffic, improve SEO, and generate leads and sales.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Key tasks to achieve the project goal, with our guidance and support:

  1. Create a high-level marketing plan.
  2. Develop strong understanding of accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities.
  3. Create video clips via audio video editing to use as social media posts.
  4. Captioning for each video (e.g., closed, audio, descriptive).
  5. Content development - content calendar, 12 blog posts, 35 posts for LinkedIn, and 20 tweets (i.e., mix of educational, promotional, and engaging content).
  6. Mock-up "Calls-to-Action" (i.e. diverse and accessibility-compliant) for company website.
  7. Transcribe videos.
  8. Create pop-ups to put on company website as promotional tool (e.g., downloads) and education.
  9. Utilize a mix of promotion tactics to increase visibility and reach on various social media platforms.
  10. Track and analyze website traffic and search rankings.
  11. Utilize tools and set up Google Analytics [on website] to track and measure website traffic and search rankings, behaviour and conversation rates.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and guidance throughout the project. Schedule to be confirmed between the employer and student(s).

Occasional progress meetings will take place where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made as needed.

Preference to connect and follow-up video conference (i.e., Zoom).
