statistics research usabilityThe Data Narratives for the Arts (DNA) Platform is a vital tool that consolidates financial and statistical data from over 4,000 charitable arts organizations across Canada. The current project aims to expand the platform by developing a methodology to create a new "community" filter. This filter will include a category set that accurately represents the diverse landscape of the arts and culture sector. The challenge is to ensure that the new filter is comprehensive and inclusive, reflecting the varied communities and artistic expressions within Canada. By achieving this, the platform will enhance its usability and relevance, offering more tailored insights for stakeholders. The project will require a thorough analysis of existing data categories and an understanding of the arts sector's diversity.
The primary deliverable is a comprehensive methodology document outlining the new "community" filter for the DNA Platform. This document should include a detailed category set that represents the diversity of the arts and culture sector. Additionally, a report summarizing the research and analysis process used to develop the methodology will be required. The deliverables will provide a clear framework for implementing the new filter, ensuring it meets the needs of diverse arts communities.
