Project scope

What is the main goal for this project?: To create an intuitive, parametric cost estimating software for solid wood doors and solid wood parts including all components: glass, hardware, finishing. The software could be based off a 3D model from Autocad, Sketchup, Fusion etc. or based off data input.
The software needs to be specific and yet have the ability to be flexible in design in order to continue building the software as new projects are estimated.
The software needs to integrate with accounting software manually or seamlessly.
The software needs to produce out pages that are easy to read, compact or long version with product imaging included.
The learner will need to follow a map of process in order to create if then scenarios in order to capture most custom options.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?: Project learners will need to help create and sort the process map.
Project learners will need to completely understand the process map to succeed.
Project learners will need to understand parametric concepts.
Project learners will need to be able to create functions for calculating based on paramteric drawings.

How will you support learners in completing the project?: Hello, I will be able to assist with all data and the outline of a process map. I will be available to the learners for input and guidance. I will give the learners access to all images and information that will be required.
