The goal of this project is to enhance the visibility and engagement of SocialNext's events and online platforms through strategic content development and marketing efforts. Learners will work on creating compelling content for SocialNext's in-person conferences, the SocialNext Marketing Alliance online community, and Marketing News Canada blog, newsletter, and podcast. The project involves applying classroom knowledge in content creation, copywriting, and social media marketing to support these platforms. Learners will also gain experience in back-end event support, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. The project is designed to provide practical experience in digital marketing and event management, focusing on cohesive and targeted messaging to reach and engage the intended audience.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a comprehensive content plan and a series of written and multimedia content pieces tailored for SocialNext's events and platforms. Learners will produce blog articles, social media posts, and podcast leads. Additionally, they will develop a social media marketing strategy to promote these events and platforms. The team will also provide a report on back-end event support strategies, detailing improvements and recommendations for future events.
