Details

The goal of this project is to support the production of an animated YouTube series by effectively managing the coordination of various production elements. The project involves overseeing voice recordings, animation workflows, and quality review processes to ensure the timely delivery of six branded episodes. Learners will apply their organizational and project management skills to streamline communication between voice actors, animators, and the founder. By doing so, they will gain hands-on experience in the animation production pipeline, learning how to balance creative and logistical demands. The project will also require learners to develop a schedule that aligns with production deadlines and ensures all team members are informed and on track. This project is ideal for students in animation, media production, or project management programs.

Deliverables

the student will take the lead on coordinating the production of six animated videos (5–10 minutes each), using pre-written scripts provided by the Niya’s Coily World team. The student will:

  • Liaise with our voice actor to schedule and receive final recordings
  • Coordinate and follow up with two freelance animators to ensure timely progress and alignment with script/storyboard
  • Review drafts and provide basic quality control feedback (e.g., checking for alignment with script, on-brand visuals, and overall clarity)
  • Track progress against deadlines and report updates to our team weekly

Key deliverables

  • 6 completed animation videos, ready for YouTube upload
  • 1 production tracker with weekly updates
  • A short reflection or summary report outlining what the student learned during the process
