3d modeling additive manufacturing (3d printing) aesthetic design creative thinking filmmaking design elements and principles films research top secret-sensitive compartmented information (ts/sci clearance)88Panther Films is exploring futuristic transportation concepts for an upcoming sci-fi movie. The goal of this project is to design and create a prototype of a hover bike using a 3D printer. The project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of 3D modeling, design principles, and additive manufacturing techniques. The team will need to research existing hovercraft exterior hull technologies and incorporate them into a feasible design that can be produced using a 3D printer. This project will challenge learners to think creatively and work collaboratively to solve engineering and design problems, while adhering to the constraints of 3D printing technology. The final prototype should be a scaled-down model that demonstrates the basic principles of hover technology and aesthetic design suitable for cinematic purposes.
The project deliverables include a detailed 3D model of the hover bike, ready for 3D printing, and a printed prototype. The team will also provide a report documenting the design process, challenges faced, and solutions implemented. Additionally, a presentation will be prepared to showcase the prototype and explain its features and potential applications in film production.
