Website Development and support

Our organization is a non for profit that provides summer camp to children living with organ transplants and organ failure. We raise all funds so that all children can attend camp at no charge. Our website is the central hub of our operations allowing news uodates, camper registration link and forms and a blog that shares information about our program and facilities fundraising initiatives. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more viewers and help meet our growing need to support tailored fundraising initiatives and campaigns. We would like to work with students to develop new functionalities for our website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. In particular we are interested in updating the site to allow for ease of blogging and connecting to social media channels and supporting tailored fundraising. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as Wix, Webflow, and WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Recommend and Buildi updated website features, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
