Our department launched a new branding video in the Fall of 2018. The goal of this video was to help students understand the value of their general education courses, and inspire them to pick appropriately. We would like to make the video's message more widely known, in order to improve student experience. We hope that this will improve public awareness of our values and social mission.

To achieve this, we need to:

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research

Your research report must include the following sections:

Develop a public relations strategy including recommendations on channels to use, media outlets to approach, compelling stories, and materials needed.

Your PR plan must include the following sections:

· Executive Summary

· Situation Analysis

· Research Summary

· Objectives

· Audience identification/target

· Key messages

· Strategies

· Communication Tactics

· Schedule

· Budget

· Evaluation plan

Create sample materials to provide through our own channels, including turning testimonials into compelling stories and developing a press release.

Our long-term goals are to create and maintain social media content that can support our brand. We hope to receive insights into an effective PR strategy including channel recommendations and a roll-out plan with a suggested budget. Materials that can be used or customized by our PR team would also be an asset.

We are looking for groups of 4 CCM741 students to work with the Chairs of the Schools of English and Liberal Studies.
