Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We need a coherent, consistent, uplifting, powerful brand that resonates with 50 ups (people 50 years and older). Our primary market is the U.S. but our platforms are online so open globally. Our profile users is 50-75 years old.

For example, Jenny Jordan is 60 years old and divorced. She started running marathons at age 48. She has won or come in the top 3 in multiple marathons for her age group in the U.S. She loves dogs and volunteers at an animal shelter. Since she used to be an attorney she uses her law background to fight for animal rights legislation. She also loves cooking and used to host parties of 20 or more friends but now that COVID is here, she can't have her parties and is limited in working at the animal shelter. She is still running and training but feels isolated and lonely because her daughter lives hundreds of miles away and they can only visit via Zoom chat. She wonders how she can rebuild her life after COVID. She is frustrated that 50ups are told to just stay home and life can go on around them. This worsens her growing annoyance with ads that show younger women in trendy clothes or on surround by young children at the playground and she feel increasingly pushed to the margin and ignored. Although she resolutely moves on with her life, it leaves her feeling negatively about these products.

Our platform includes:

1) Podcast 2) Website 3) Blog 4) Digital email newsletter 5) Community platform to facilitate 50s in teaching their passions (can be added later) 6) Developed a sponsorship proposal for corporate sponsorship

What we have now:

1) A logo concept to be refined 2) mission 3) simple wireframe concepts

What we need:

1) Strong logo with digital icon as well as larger logo version 2) Brand look & feel 3) Podcast intro/exit music 4) Branding bible (brand summary to explain our brand to team members) 5) Marketing plans to launch social media presence

Our current logo sketch (attached) incorporates our short form name of 4 L shapes (for Living Loud Living Long- L4) in a tree form (healthy, green, long lived).
