Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our team is currently in the process of expanding into niche markets where we believe our product is a strong fit. Specifically we are looking at small clinical practices that specialize in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) protocols for teaching autistic children. Our team's expertise is primarily in product development and we do not have fully dedicated sales staff.

To become more effective, we need assistance developing an outreach process to support outbound sales. We would like to equip our team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market.

The project may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identifying new potential accounts that align with our current customer base.
  • Compiling relevant market information.
  • Building a customizable outreach script.
  • Creating a simple tracking framework, including metrics, for measuring outreach success.

The final project deliverable is a report including research, analysis, and recommendations. It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

One of the company directors will directly supervise the project to provide subject matter expertise on the niche target market, and ensure the project remains on track with periodic milestone deliverables to ensure steady demonstrable progress. Student(s) should be prepared to offer their own functional expertise necessary to complete the objectives.

About the company

ABAKiS provides a simple, online data recording and analysis tool for autism intervention service providers.

One of the biggest challenges faced by autism intervention service providers, is the recording and analysis of the vast amounts of complex data demanded of the leading intervention protocols, collectively known as Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA). The ABAKiS solution to this is a web portal application that allows intervention teams to easily collect and share this data. Primary service providers use this data for instant, on-demand analysis to keep plans current; and parents can visually follow their child's progress.

In contrast to other similar solutions, ABAKiS is designed to be an affordable, easy-to-use option primarily aimed at independent service providers and smaller clinics for whom a larger-scale solution would not be feasible.
