Details

Our organization wants to further our efforts to increase awareness about a particular health topic. We would like to work with students to develop a campaign that successfully raises awareness and changes behaviour around this health topic in a certain population. In collaboration with key contacts at our organization, students will design and carry out a campaign strategy around this health topic.

  • Identify groups which this campaign will target. (BIPOC)
  • Identify ideal outcomes and KPIs.
  • Include the latest and most accurate data and information on colorism within the black community, skin bleaching or the effects of chemical relaxers.
  • Design leaflets, posters, videos, and/or brochures.
Deliverables

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • A final report including information on colorism within the black community, skin bleaching or the effects of chemical relaxers.
  • Students may choose 1-3 of the three topics above depending on how much they can undertake to successfully complete this project.
  • A 30-minute presentation
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. Students may have access to apps/tools that may be useful.
