Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector.

Our organization is excited to expand it's services to the Kamloops community and surrounding

We currently support the BIPOC community and are expanding in our services and programs that are wholistic to address the demand and challenges faced by minority communities and newcomers.

Racism, discrimination, unconscious bias have been among areas that affect the BIPOC community. As part of our initiative we are hosting Vodcasts to share peoples stories and the impact this challenges have had on them in their advancement and mental health.

so organizations and community learn how they can create an inclusive culture and broaden their perspective.

student will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, we'd love to hear from you.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story
  • Coordinate with our producers and web developers to update content on the websites and any other platforms for our organization
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

The team will be available to support the students throughout their tenure
