- What is the main goal for this project?

For the portfolio in our holding company, we would like students to come with a fresh pair of eyes to help identify a new potential acquisition target based on the portfolio diversity. We will take the input and try to participate in potential angel investment or pre-seed / Series A deals based on the analysis.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Deliverable 1: Find and help shortlist 3 up and coming companies from Angelist.
- You will be responsible for screening some of our deal flow by participating in company pitches and conducting initial analysis
- Collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources
Deliverable 2: Conduct a top down analysis and synthesize a deep dive framework on one of the target companies from Deliverable 1 to present to the investment committee
- Draw insights from LinkedIn, interviews, market research, company materials, and other research to make a recommendation.
- Create appendix slide with possible Q&A that will be asked
- Lead the presentation creation process and share with the investment committee
