What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal of this project is to create a web app for parents to help make informed decisions about what games, social media apps, and other apps their kids use. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Create a comparison tool to help parents make informed choices about consoles and games

- Create a function for parents to share games their kids are allowed to play with other parents

- Create a parent's conversation forum to share concerns, issues and resources

- Create a resource library of resources and organizations that can help parents navigate issues related to kids online interactions and outcomes

- Designing a user-friendly interface for the web app

- Developing a secure database to store user information

- Researching and implementing other features that may be beneficial to parents.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should have had experience in:

- Designing a user-friendly interface for a web app.

- Developing of a secure database to store user information.

- Creating a parent's decision-support tools, conversation platform, and resource library

- Research and implementation of other features that may be beneficial to parents.

Final deliverables should include:

- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.

- A user manual for the app.
