ICT Ignite Cyber (June 24th - July 19th 2024)

Flexible

60-hour, fully-subsidized, cybersecurity internships for Canadian employers. Learners are paid a $1400 CAD stipend on completion of the project by Riipen. Employers are not required to provide payment. Submit a project here for the ICT Ignite team to review. Once approved, you will be matched with a team of 5 participants.Projects should start from 24th June, and must be completed between 2 and 4 weeks.Projects must be completed by 19th July.The learners are graduates of the Lighthouse Labs Cybersecurity Program. These individuals have just wrapped up immersive, hands-on training in cybersecurity. They can review your current practice, highlight potential problems, evaluate security issues, assess risk, and recommend & implement tailored solutions to defend against threats to your networks or computer systems.They are ready to bring the lens of a Cybersecurity Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Incident Responder/Handler, Network Security Specialist, and Risk Analyst.Report areas you can request include: Vulnerability Assessment report Security Architecture overview and recommendationsInvestigation & Research reportYou can find out more about these reports here.If you have questions or need help drafting your project content please email us at ictignite@riipen.com. ICT Ignite Skills - Digital Tech Projects

Flexible

80-hour, fully-subsidized, digital tech internships for Canadian employers. Learners are paid a $1500 CAD stipend on completion of the project by Riipen. Employers are not required to provide payment. Submit a project here for our ICT Ignite team to review. Once approved, learners are not guaranteed yet, but they will apply to your project directly. You will have a chance to review, assess, and accept applications, and 2-4 learners should be accepted per project. Learners are looking to gain experience and provide impact in digital tech roles. They have recently completed a hands-on, intensive, immersive program in full-stack web development. They're skilled, adaptable, and motivated junior web developers eager to continue learning, enriching your project and kickstarting their web development careers.Learners are paid a $2000 CAD stipend on completion of the project by Riipen. Employers are not required to provide payment. We are excited to share that we have a wage subsidy program available if you wish to hire a ICT Ignite Plus learner after their project is complete.
