What is the main goal for this project?

We would like to work with a student(s) who is/are interested in ...

  1. doing market research and helping us to determine what are the best and most profitable products to begin our merchandise plan with. T-shirts and other printed products, meditation cushions & eye pillows, yoga mats (top brands or studio branded), and help to determine what other products that our target market are looking for. Some examples include books for Yoga Teacher Training, music - we have access and the ability to produce music for yoga and meditation, affiliate relationships.
  2. Develop the products that we choose from this research. Research and development - interview t-shirt manufacturers, discuss the pros and cons of warehousing or drop-shipping, create a merchandising plan with timelines
  3. Marketing Plan. Market and advertise the products - webpages, social media, social media influencers, google and social media ads, magazine print advertising,

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • orientation meeting to the atlas team, brand and assets
  • collectively set goals and milestones for the project.
  • research and develop product mix in collaboration with the atlas team
  • liaise with the art director to create art work for printed products - in line with brand
  • create a marketing plan and launch for a small selection of products.
  • create a systems to measure the effectiveness of the marketing plan.
