Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We want students to help us create beautiful and engaging graphic design assets for a few public relation campaigns and areas likes social media, our website, and print material. The graphic design will revolve around event-based purposes, e.g. event website, brochures, posters, etc. Our target is to to build a healthy base of graphic design content to be used throughout the conference. We are looking for students with a stylistic interest in nature themed design.

Scope: The main objectives we would like students to help us with are,

  • Following marketing strategy plans to create ~10 social media ads
  • Create ~10 graphic design assets (digital banners, document templates, website assets)
  • Help us in effective layout design in high-text based documents
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Create graphic design assets following currently established brand graphic image

Create content for various digital environments including ads and communication

How will you support learners in completing the project?

The role will have direct interaction with the lead conference youth organizer with, at minimum, bi-weekly check-ins, the opportunity to draft plans as a team, get feedback through every stage of the process, and an opportunity to reflect and learn lessons through the project. Students will receive mentorship in managing large-scale projects and operating in a work-like environment.
