Youth Engagement Communications Plan - Climate Change Conference

We want students to help us build a communication framework for a Canada wide youth-led climate change conference. Our target is to inaugurate the first conference of its kind in Canada this year and a large preparational component is to have a communications toolkit and framework ready. This project is focused on helping to build a communication strategy and toolkit that effectively reaches youth all across Canada for their perspectives about climate change. Key Responsibilities:Develop a communication toolkit strategy that is accessible and easy to use for other youths.Draft copyright communications as part of the strategyDevelop graphic assets to support the communicationProjects Goals:Assist our organization to create a toolkit for other youth to use in a Canada wide, youth-led, climate change conference and develop a communication strategy to get youth involved in the conference.

Climate Change Policy Advisor & Writer- U.N Climate Change Conference

We want an analytical and positive Policy Advisor (At least 3rd year undergrad or above) to help us write a professional policy document for a Canada-wide youth-led climate change conference following a United Nations framework. The policy document will be demands by Canadian youth to Canadian decision-makers on action they need to take on climate change and sustainability within Canada, as well as more broadly to the world leaders at COP. We wish to write a specific and detailed document that references existing Canadian policy/legislation. This project is focused on ensuring the policy document is effective, relevant, and practical to current policy in Canada and so it can make an impact in the COP conference.Key Responsibilities:Advise us on current policy in Canada surrounding climate change, sustainability, especially in climate justice, biodiversity, building sustainable communities, and extreme weatherConsult/help to write an effective policy document
