Students will deliver integrated marketing communication plans and performance evaluation frameworks by applying their knowledge of segmentation, targeting, positioning, and the marketing mix. This collaboration offers companies fresh insights and innovative approaches to enhance their market presence. We are seeking collaborations with businesses that: currently have 5 or more employees on staff are actively in business (not planning on launching) have an annual turn over of $200,000+ ideally looking to offer internship, coop, and employment opportunities after the Experience concludes

Business Analytics Capstone for MBA Graduate

The MBA Graduate Practicum Program (GPP) at University Canada West offers a unique Work-integrated Learning experience. In this program, employers have the opportunity to hire MBA students for roles that can be paid, unpaid, or stipend based. These positions require a commitment of 12-24 hours per week, aligning with the students' 12-week Capstone Experience Course (WORK-601). For the Spring 2025 Term, which runs from April 7th to June 29th, 2025, the program is set to place 8-10 students. Students develop a robust skill set in business analytics, including data mining, statistical analysis, and advanced data visualization. They gain expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, applying these tools to solve business challenges. Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and cloud computing technologies, they handle large datasets and implement scalable solutions. This capstone also emphasizes ethical data practices, preparing students to make responsible data-driven decisions. By integrating technical knowledge with business strategy, students are equipped to lead analytics projects that drive innovation and competitive advantage. Participating in the MBA GPP presents employers with the opportunity to tap into a talent pool of seasoned MBA students.
