Sheridan College students will be working on core human resources topics ranging from recruitment and selection, training, career development, talent acquisition and management, employee retention, equity and diversity management, employer branding, remote working, and more.
Working in small teams of 3-5 students and under the guidance of their teacher, students will apply their learning and analytical skills by conducting research and developing an actionable strategy and recommendations of Human Resources Management challenges faced by your organization, stakeholders, and /or clients.

The final project deliverable will include:
- 15 min presentation with a slide deck
- Written report for the employer
Project Examples
Examples of projects include but are not limited to:
- Assessing and developing your EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) initiatives
- Helping with recruitment and selection activities such as generating job descriptions/job postings or creating a bank of materials for structured/behavioural type job interviews
- Developing onboarding/orientation program
- Updating employer handbooks and policies
- Researching HRM best practices
