Requirements

This is an opportunity to have a full class of Schulich School of Business MBA students analyze a business problem you are facing and develop solutions to address the problem, while growing your business and helping to improve profitability.

You would provide the students with a written brief on your company, industry marketing challenge no later than June 21st. They would do some preliminary research in preparation for an in-depth exploration of the challenge at hand, which will take place on Wednesday, July 5th.

The class will be guided by an instructor with 30 years’ marketing and business strategy development experience, with clients in a variety of industries in multiple sectors and countries. You would work with the instructor ahead of time to ensure the right information is given to the students to enable them to give you strong recommendations.

On July 5th you will have the opportunity to recap the problem at the beginning of the session and can to add more to the challenge at this time, if you wish. The experience is designed so that you can ask questions, provide input and get feedback in real time.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Recommending a marketing communications approach for start-up
  • Providing a strategy to reposition your brand to increase growth
  • Identifying new product mixes and/or customer segments
  • Improving employee engagement to improve customer retention
