Requirements

This is an opportunity to have a full class of Schulich School of Business MBA students analyze a business problem you are facing and develop solutions to address the problem, while growing your business and helping to improve profitability. Two companies will present their business challenge/opportunity to be assessed and worked upon.

You would provide the students with a written brief on your company and your social media communications and PR challenge no later than October 14th. They would do some preliminary research in preparation for an in-depth exploration of the challenge at hand, which will take place on Saturday, October 28th.

The class will be guided by an instructor with 20 yearsÂ’ of digital media and digital marketing business strategy development experience, with clients and employers in a variety of industries in multiple sectors. You would work with the instructor ahead of time to ensure the right information is given to the students to enable them to give you strong recommendations.

On October 14th you will have the opportunity to recap the problem at the beginning of the session and can add more to the challenge at this time, if you wish. The experience is designed so that you can ask questions, provide input and get feedback in real time.

The topic should focus on the role of communications and public relations in your organization with a focus on using social media.
